Purple Alert is a community minded app for people with dementia if they are missing.Purple Alert is a free app and has been designed by people living with dementia and carers, Alzheimer Scotland staff, Police Scotland, Dementia Friends Scotland, Health and Social Care Partnerships and Emergency Services.Purple Alert allows the carer of a person living with dementia to create a profile for them and share it with the community should they ever go missing.
The community of users can keep eyes and ears on the ground and immediately help with the search.
Purple Alert is a free service offered and supported by Alzheimer Scotland.
Purple Alert is not an emergency service.
